Cotahuasi Canyon  - Southern Peru

     The Canyon of Cotahuasi is the deepest canyon on planet Earth! It is a remote and beautiful area that few tourist ever visit. There are many things to do in the area. 

 

>Sipia: Cataract Sipia inica their journey at a point where the river Cotahuasi sharply reduces its channel just 5 m wide and 150 m plunges into free fall crashing violently with rocks.

>The stone forest of Santo Santo , whose length is 5 square kilometers, being at 4,200 meters above sea level, 17 kilometers away from the village of Cotahuasi.

>The Forest Giants Cactus Jewish Pampa in the town of Quechualla, village is also famous for the vineyards and variety of fruits that is possessed. The peculiarity of these giant cactus is measuring up to approximately 12 to 13 meters, in addition to living with a type of bat that establishes a symbiosis.
